GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Two women lived out the dream of going on a shopping spree Thursday morning.
Sue Stewart and Kendra Zimmerman dashed through the aisles of the St. Vincent de Paul store on Green Bay’s East Side as part of the store’s 25th anniversary celebration.
Sue and Kendra were chosen from hundreds of entries.
They had 1 minute and 25 seconds to fill up their carts.
“It seems like a long time. If you’re going to be standing on your head or hanging by your neck or anything. Running around this big place it was not enough time,” Sue joked.
Kendra said, “At first, when he called me he was like, ‘Are you OK being on tv?'” She laughed, “And I was like, ‘I don’t know about this.'”
Together, Kendra and Sue picked up more than $500 in merchandise.
Action 2 News This Morning’s Kevin Rompa and Kathryn Bracho helped Sue and Kendra fill up their carts.
