GREEN BAY, Wis (WBAY) – An Appleton man was booked by Green Bay police, who say he tried to steal from a Shopko store on Green Bay’s east side Tuesday.

The store’s loss-prevention staff says the man brought an electric razor and hair straightener up to Customer Service and wanted a refund. He didn’t have a receipt, and when staff wouldn’t give him money he left with the merchandise. When loss-prevention staff looked at surveillance video, the man walked into the store empty-handed.

Shopko staff noticed the car he left in, and police identified Wang Lor, 28, of Appleton as a suspect. Appleton police found Lor and recovered the stolen items.

After being photographed and fingerprinted by Green Bay police, Lor was cited for retail theft and released.
