Two arrested in investigation of car theft ring

ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WBAY) – Two brothers were arrested, suspected of stealing at least 13 cars and trucks around Brown County.

Ashwaubenon Public Safety says investigators identified two suspects: A 32-year-old De Pere man and his 44-year-old brother from Pound.

Officers say the 32-year-old faces numerous charges of Taking and Driving a Vehicle Without the Owner’s Consent, Possession of Amphetamine with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia/Narcotic Equipment and Possession of Marijuana.

The 44-year-old is charged with Operating While Revoked, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia/Narcotic Equipment and Possession of THC.

Both were expected to appear in court Friday afternoon.

Ashwaubenon Public Safety is still looking for one of the stolen vehicles, a silver 2013-model Ford F-250 with a lift kit, brush guard and big wheels (pictured above).
