DOOR COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) – Authorities in Door County say two people were hurt after the SUV they were riding in rolled over several times and hit a median.
The Door County Sheriff’s Office was notified at 10:25 a.m. Friday of the crash, which happened on State Highway 57, north of County Highway D, in the town of Union.
The driver, a 52-year-old Sturgeon Bay woman, was transported to a hospital in Door County. The passenger, a 47-year-old Sturgeon Bay man, was taken to a hospital in Green Bay. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
The crash led authorities to detour traffic on State Highway 57 for several hours. The area reopened at 1:33 p.m.
The crash is under investigation.
