Elementary school shooting victim to have superhero funeral


TOWNVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – Jacob Hall, the six year old who died in the hospital following a shooting at Townville Elementary last week will be laid to rest Wednesday.

According to his mother, Renae Hall, Jacob will have a superhero funeral.

According to the family, Jacob loved superheroes, and his uncles and brothers who will be pallbearers for the funeral will be dressed up in superhero outfits.

Jacob’s parents are asking that anyone who attends the funeral dress up as their favorite superhero.

Before Wednesday’s funeral, there will be visitation for friends and family on Tuesday at Oakdale Baptist Church from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Jacob died Saturday, after being shot Wednesday, another student and a teacher were wounded.

Classes will resume Thursday at the school, the day after the funeral.
