Wisconsin Eagle rescue caught on camera


PEPIN COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) – An injured eagle is recovering after some teamwork between a western Wisconsin deputy, the Wisconsin State Patrol, and the Department of Natural Resources.

The DOT says crews responded to a report of an injured eagle on Highway 10. A deputy and trooper kept the eagle safe while the DNR responded to the scene.

The DOT says the eagle was taken to the Eagle Center in Wabasha, Minn.
