Tech Report: New Facebook marketplace feature competing with Craigslist and eBay

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Facebook is taking on Craigslist and eBay with their new marketplace feature they unveiled on Monday.

It offers a place to buy and sell goods with your Facebook friends and those near you in your community.

KRON4 Tech Reporter Gabe Slate explains how it works and the risks it could pose if the wrong people try to take advantage.

The new feature will come to Facebook’s mobile app first, and then to desktop.
