BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) – A De Pere businessman involved in a federal bank fraud case pleaded not guilty to six additional charges against him.
Ron Van Den Heuvel and his wife are accused of conspiracy to commit bank fraud.
They’ve been under investigation for years on suspicion of defrauding investors and the Horicon Bank of more than $1 million.
A former Horicon Bank loan officer is also involved in the case. He took a plea deal after being convicted of providing Mr. Van Den Huevel with loans that were not approved by the bank and were never repaid.
