BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) – The case against a Brown County social worker accused of selling meth will go forward.

Dale Leonard waived his preliminary hearing on Monday. The court bound him over for trial.

Leonard is charged with five counts related to making and selling methamphetamine.

He was arrested last week after the Brown County Drug Task Force says an informant made controlled buys at Leonard’s house.

His defense attorney says Leonard has been a case worker at the Brown County Human Services Department for more than two decades. He’s on unpaid administrative leave pending an investigation.

Leonard’s next court date is October 31.
