Lacy hosts VIP bowling fundraiser for Freedom House

Bowling under blue light

SUAMICO, Wis. (WBAY) – Eddie Lacy turned in the football for a bowling ball.

The Green Bay Packers running back hosted a private VIP bowling event Monday night at The Gutter bowling alley in Suamico.

All proceeds benefited Freedom House, a family shelter in Green Bay.

“To be able to be in this position, you know, I am blessed enough to give back, and that’s what I want to do. I want to you know, show where I came from and what I’ve been through and be able to give back,” Lacy said.

Lacy was joined by several teammates. We saw Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix and Damarious Randall there, and Brett Hundley and James Starks were on the guest list.

Guests bowled for prizes, participated in a raffle and mingled with some favorite players.
