MENASHA, Wis. (WBAY) – Two men were hurt when they fought off a home invasion early Wednesday morning.

Menasha Police say two men carrying weapons entered a home on the 300-block of Second Street. They were confronted by the two men inside and a fight broke out.

The men who broke in got away before police arrived.

Police recovered an unloaded shotgun and a BB/pellet gun.

The two residents were treated at a hospital for injuries. They didn’t have to be admitted.

Police don’t think their home was a random target, but no one is in custody yet.
