OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) – The Wisconsin Department of Transportation held its second public information meeting about the Oregon/Jackson Street Bridge in Oshkosh on Thursday.
The DOT says the drawbridge built in 1956 has deficiencies and needs updates.
Those updates could be relatively minor or the bridge could be completely replaced. The DOT is deciding on the best course of action.
It hopes to have a final plan formulated by spring and hold a public hearing.
