Signing up for the Salvation Army’s Christmas Assistance Program

BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) – The Salvation Army of Brown County says families can sign up for Christmas Assistance starting Oct. 13, 2016.

Eligible families can sign up for Toys for Tots, Coats for Kids, and a food basket.

Seniors can also sign up for a food basket.

“The Salvation Army is always ready and eager to serve families in need,” says Major Bob Mueller. “One of the things we do besides providing food, clothing, shelter, gifts at Christmas time, is provide hope. One thing we do a really good job of is keeping hope alive in the lives of families in need.”

Families who come in for an interview need to bring photo identification for all adults in the household, proof of current address, and a birth certificate for each child in the home.

There is no need to make an appointment. Walk ins are welcome.
