BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) – Fonferek’s Glen park is sporting new signage following a number of alcohol and drug-related incidents.
Last month the Brown County Board approved banning alcohol and smoking at the park after the Parks Committee looked at incidents of after-hours partying, underage drinking and illegal drug use.
Officials were also concerned about alcohol-related accidents around the cliffs in the park.
Now that signs are in place, the bans will be enforced. Parks Department workers will enforce the rules and notify deputies of any violations. Fines could cost up to $150.
The smoking ban includes electronic cigarettes.
