Democrats call Trump “Divider in Chief”

They say Trump's unsupported claims of a rigged election are dangerous

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Two left-leaning office holders spoke out against Donald Trump’s campaign before he took the stage in Green Bay.

U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-Wisconsin) and Outagamie County Executive Tom Nelson, who’s seeking a congressional seat as a Democrat, say Trump would be a “Divider in Chief.”

They pointed to his repeated yet unproven claims that the American election system is rigged.

“It’s dangerous because we have a democracy, and we need to trust that our election systems work,” Sen. Baldwin said.

“In politics, you know, there are political questions, policy questions. This is in a category on a level all by itself,” Nelson said.
