INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Ken Bone, the man in the red sweater the internet went crazy over after the second presidential debate, is back.
He partnered with Izod to star in a new commercial.
Izod is the company that makes his now famous red sweater, which Bone bought at a Kohl’s Department Store in Wausau.
Bone has a positive message to share in the ad titled “Ken Bone’s Fifteenth Minute,” referring to everyone’s “15 minutes of fame.”
“I don’t think I’m going to continue to be internet famous forever,” Bone said. “That’s not my expectation. We keep looking at each other and going, is this really happening? It’s just a sweater.”
But in the end, it’s not about the sweater at all for Bone, it’s about the election.
“It’s really important that we don’t give up on the political process. I really do expect at the end, that it winds down,” he said.
Bone is encouraging everyone to cast a ballot on election day.
