East side Green Bay gas station robbed at knifepoint

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Green Bay Police are investigating an armed robbery at an east side gas station.

At about 1:26 a.m. Monday, officers were called to the University Avenue Shell at the corner of University and Danz Avenues.

Police say the suspect pulled a knife and got away with some cash. He left the scene in a small, late 90s Nissan or Honda. The car is dark in color with a silver or gold rear bumper.

The suspect is described as:

  • White male
  • 5’10” tall
  • Average build
  • Wearing a sweatshirt

In a separate case, police have arrested an Indiana man for Sunday’s robberies of the Country Inn and Suites on Kepler Drive in Green Bay, and the robbery of the Super 8 motel on South Oneida Street in Ashwaubenon. Robert Morgan Neely, 24, Lakeville, Indiana, is being held at the Brown County Jail on two counts of Armed Robbery.
