DE PERE, Wis. (WBAY) – De Pere High School was on lockdown Monday morning because of a fight outside the building.
De Pere Superintendent Benjamin Villarruel tells Action 2 News the fight started in gym glass, which was being held on the football field. The fight spilled into a parking lot and got closer to the building.
The school went into lockdown to prevent students from running outside to join the fight.
The lockdown lasted about 30 minutes.
De Pere Police were called to the scene to break up the fight.
