NEW YORK (WBAY) – The candidates for president have exercised their right to vote.

Democrat Hillary Clinton voted in Chappaqua, New York. After casting her ballot, she told reporters that voting was “the most humbling feeling.”

Republican Donald Trump voted in New York City. He visited his polling location with wife Melania and daughter Ivanka.

The running mates also voted this morning. Clinton VP nominee Tim Kaine voted in Virginia, and Trump VP nominee Mike Pence voted in Indiana.

One of the presidential candidates must secure 270 electoral votes to win.
