Packers surprise veterans with pig roast

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Green Bay Packers players surprised veterans at the VA Clinic in Green Bay Tuesday.

Bryan Bulaga, T.J. Lang, Corey Linsley, and Lane Taylor treated veterans to a free pig roast at the Milo C. Huempfner Clinic.

The players also handed out Veterans Day gifts.

“I think this event means a thank you for the appreciation for their dedication to service to protect our country,” said Tim Deacy, clinic administrator. “It’s a great partnership we’ve had with the Packers the last three years, working together with them, providing other opportunities. They’ve donated things for our veterans out homeless veterans.”
