Make-A-Wish to send Green Bay boy to Disney World

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – A 3-year-old Green Bay boy and his family are going to Disney World later this month, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Duber Aceituno was diagnosed with stage three liver cancer in 2014. He had a liver transplant plus five rounds of chemotherapy and is now cancer-free.

Make-A-Wish is paying for the family of six’s Nov. 21-27 trip to Orlando, Florida. The family received a debit card worth about $2,000 for souvenirs and other things they’d like to do during their vacation. They’ll also get passes for all the different parks.

Duber will get special treatment for wearing a Make-A-Wish shirt. Everyone in his family will let others know he is a Make-A-Wish recipient.

His mother says it’s great to see her don doing so well.

“I can’t get over the fact that — how far he’s come,” said Cassandra Aceituno. “From the day that I heard until now.”

Duber loves Mickey Mouse. It’s his favorite Disney character.
