OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) – Thirteen communities in Outagamie County will soon have new recycling carts.

The carts are an update to the recycling bins, allowing extra space to recycle even more items. Officials say it’s more convenient, so it encourages people to recycle more.

“Some communities have these, but many rural communities don’t have them yet because they’re kind of expensive,” said Outagamie County Recycling Coordinator Christine Miller. “So we applied for a grant through the Recycling Partnership which awarded us the grant which gives money back to the communities for the purchase of the carts.”
