Packers fans turn Nashville green and gold

NASHVILLE, TN (WBAY) – The Green Bay Packers can’t use the “away game” excuse on their 47-25 loss to the Tennessee Titans.

Packers fans filled the stands of Nissan Stadium in Nashville to cheer on the Green and Gold, giving it a home game feel.

Cheesehead chants of “Go Pack Go” rang through the stadium.

Unfortunately, the Packers couldn’t pull out a win for the fans who traveled to Music City.

So why were there so many Packers fans at the game? There are a couple of possibilities.

The Titans aren’t having the greatest season, and fans in that area tend to care more about college football.

It’s the country music capital of the world. Green Bay fans could make a weekend out of it: visit the Grand Ole Opry and Country Music Hall of Fame.

Also, Packers Everywhere held a pep rally for fans at a saloon in Music City. It offered live music, line dancing, and a chance to meet former players.

The general manager of our partner station WKRN in Nashville shared some photos of the sea of green:
