OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) – The Combined Locks Village Board is holding a special meeting Monday to vote on whether to end its contract with the Fox Valley Metro Police Department.
If it ends the contract, it would use the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office for policing.
Combined Locks administrators say the switch could save nearly $250,000, which the village could use for other projects, like improving roads.
If the board votes to switch agencies, the soonest that could happen is 2018.
The meeting is at 6:30 p.m.
