UW-Oshkosh sports complex project delayed again

OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) – Construction of a UW-Oshkosh sports facility that was supposed to be finished in November is being pushed back for a second time.

Construction on a $6.4 million complex is now expected to start next year.

The university’s director of student recreation says this delay happened because of the approval process to break ground on the project.

The complex will include a “super field” for soccer, rugby, lacrosse, flag football and softball; a warm-up field; restrooms and storage.
