APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) – Power has been restored to Appleton traffic lights after a widespread outage Tuesday morning.

The Appleton Department of Public Works says intersections at Oneida and Wisconsin and Drew and Wisconsin are operating in red-flash mode because they require additional repairs.

Officers say drivers should treat these intersections as 4-way stops.

The We Energies website lists about 158 customers without power, down from 2,600 customers without power during the peak of the outage.

We welcome comments and civil discussions.
