MAIRNETTE, Wis. (WBAY) – Officials with the Salvation Army that serves Marinette and Menominee counties say they are behind in their Red Kettle campaign donations.
About $10,000 more was raised at this point last year.
In a news release, Major Carol Lemirand said it has been difficult to find volunteers to ring bells for them this year. Past volunteers they’ve relied on cannot help this year due to medical issues.
Their goal is to raise $100,000. The money stays local, going toward Salvation Army programs and services.
