Valspar recalls wood cleaner sold at Menards in Wisconsin

(WBAY) – Valspar is recalling thousands of wood cleaners that were sold at Menards locations in Wisconsin.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says the Cabot products sold back in August for $10 have a faulty cap that can cause leaks. The chemical hazard can cause burns, but so far, no injuries have been reported.

The one-gallon, white bottles have the Cabot logo on the front. According to the CPSC, the recalled wood cleaners have the following badge alphanumeric identifiers printed on the back of bottle: 67MAX20006, 67MAX20007, 67MAX20009, 67MAX20103 and 67MAX20105.

Anyone who owns the product should stop using it and contact Valspar for disposal and refund instructions.
