GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - A Green Bay high school employee has formally resigned from the school district. The school board approved Joee Demerath’s resignation during Monday night’s meeting.
Demerath was placed on administrative leave earlier this month and was under investigation after social media posts claimed he inappropriately messaged a former student.
Green Bay police and the Green Bay Area Public School District were investigating the claims against Demerath, who worked as the Preble High School assistant activities director.
He was placed on administrative leave during the investigation into whether he sent inappropriate text messages.
